Our First Aid courses are nationally accredited and certificates in Apply First Aid and CPR are issued on completion of the respective course. To keep your first aid certificate current, Apply First Aid (which includes CPR) is done every 3 years and CPR is done annually.
CPR: No pre-study online learning is required for CPR. In the 2.5 hr practical course each student has their own manikin which is very hygienic and allows maximum practice time. Defibrillator training is included as part of our CPR course as AEDs are located in most public places such as shopping centres and airports. You need to phone or email to book a place in the CPR practical course – numbers limited.
APPLY FIRST AID: Previously called ‘Senior First Aid’ involves pre-study online learning prior to the 6 hr practical course. Once finished the online workbook, print off the certificate and bring it with you to the in-class course. The 6 hr practical can be done in one day or split over 2 shorter sessions.
The online learning component is a user friendly system involving multiple choice questions and takes on average 1-2hrs to complete. The questions are divided into sections with relevant reading material to assist you answer the questions.
